Back to school is a breeze for seniors, well almost. There are college applications to complete, prom dresses to purchase, but it all pays off on graduation day! My brother Isiah began his senior year this school year. He and his girlfriend Karina have chosen to capture the memories with a little help from yours truly.
As a part of Victoria Peach Designs Class of 2012 Senior Model Program, I have to say Isiah and Karina are my favorite couple! I'm super excited to have the opportunity to be a part of their final high school days and work with them, grabbing hold of their special moments. For their initial session we have decided to do a more casual, "be yourself" shoot.
Here is a preview of their session.
My brother has an uncanny ability to make Karina laugh. I am in love with the boy meets girl concept!
A few guests stopped by throughout the shoot. First, a hungry squirrel nearly had us for lunch, because we wouldn't give him food. Secondly, a homeless man engaged in a thought-provoking conversation with a trash can. Next, a bashful blue jay fled so fast that I was unable to catch him with the lens. Finally, a school of ducks marked their territory with bellowing noises and I had no choice but to get them into some final shots.
Another highlight: Isiah nearly took a mud bath as he and Karina moved around a puddle. Too funny, but I hear mud does wonders for the skin.
Thank you Isiah and Karina! This session was so much fun, there are more to come, including a more stylish shoot later this year. I'm looking forward to working with you guys all the way to graduation!
Very cute! and love the squirrel pic! :p
